Somalia: Three people were wounded in Galkayo town

Two unarmed civilians and a militant were wounded after two armed groups exchanged fire in the south of Galkayo town in Somalia
This crossfire between the two groups happened in an accidental way after two armed militias who were among groups of militants keeping guard at Embassy Hotel where a crucial reconciliation meeting among Sheqal sub-clans was taking place.

The wounded people were taken to the medical centers in the south of the town, and there conditions are reported of not been serious as such
There were two militias who together hail from sub-clans of Sheqal tribes in the region who fought in Mudug region
The traditional elders and the clerics have swiftly responded to the burning issue and officially succeed in extinguishing the tension between the two groups, and urged them to stop the fighting for the sake of this holy month of Ramadan.
