Sources confirmed to Waagacusub Media that Engineer
Mohamed Hussein Addow was slaughtered by the Al-Shabab
militants being caught in today’s fighting that raged
in Karan district, northeast of the capital.
Witnesses told Waagacusub that Al-Shabab injured Addow
and cut off his head as the battle spread into new areas
controlled by the government.
“in fact what Al-Shabab has done was un-Islamic and
inhuman act because they slaughtered the MP as animal,”
said one of the local residents.
The death of the Somali lawmaker came day after suicide
bomber belonging to Al-Shabab killed the security minister
and other Senior officers and intellectuals in Beledweyn
town in central Somalia..
The Somali government lost key member security members
in their fight against the rebel Islamists since early
this year after the Ethiopian departure from Somalia.
