Somalia:Bandits ambush civilian bus 2 killed.

2 passengers died after the bus they were traveling in, passing on the outskirts of Jowhar town the headquarters of middle shabelle region in southern Somalia came under fire, opened by bandits.

“The bandits stopped the bus and unsympathetically ordered the entire of the safe passengers to alight from the bus, hitting the butts of their guns at the back of the passengers, the bandits took with them all the valuable items and goods laden in the bus” said Halima Ahmed a safe mother who was tarvekl9ing in the bus speaking to Waagacusb Website on Monday morning.

The mother also added that they were not expecting to be attacked on that road, but out of the blue she said that she saw 4 men armed with AK47 assault riffle and indiscriminately opened fire at them.

The bus left Mogadishu the capital of Somalia and was heading to some regions in central Somalia.

The area where the incident occurred is under the Islamists hardliners of Al-Shabab who have earlier said that they will do all means and ways to ensure the safety of the road which links southern and central Somalia.
